The Tidewave™ swivel mattress automatically turns patients prone to pressure ulcers (decubitus), improving the quality of patient care and relieving healthcare staff.
The mattress redistributes the pressure that causes bedsores with a gentle, automated movement. Patients are moved laterally and continuously in sequences lasting from 20 to 60 minutes.
Ergonomically designed, the mattress curves around the sides of the patient's body. This prevents patients from falling out of bed and distributes body weight over a larger area, reducing peak stress points. Patients feel safe and comfortable in Tidewave Hug.

Pressure sores on the mattress
The mattress consists of an ergonomic top mattress in cold foam with a flexible core and a firm edge for support. Underneath the foam mattress is an air mattress with a friction cloth in between. The air mattress has 9 individual air cells that are filled with air and adapt to the user's weight. It then arches to provide support to the user before the ride begins. Incontinence covers cover the entire mattress. You can also choose the firmness of the mattress. The mattress is delivered in three different firmnesses (soft, medium and hard). The firmness of the mattress is chosen based on the user's weight and preference.
The control box
The pump unit (control box) for the air mattress, which has the option of setting both the degree of rotation and the speed of rotation, is attached to the footboard of the bed. The mattress is connected to the pump unit via a simple quick coupling.
Turn the program
The Drej program can be adapted to the individual and their needs. You can choose the speed, duration and intervals of the turns, whether the mattress should turn on one or both sides, pauses between the turns, speed and number of degrees of the turns. All this is set on a user-friendly and intuitive control box.
Options: Turn right, left or both sides only. 3 speeds. 3 turning degrees. 30 min, 15 min or no break in forward facing position.
Functions: Adjustment function with automatic resumption of turning function after 30 min. Safety function if the heart board is over 30 degrees.
Warnings: Light warning in the event of a fault in the system or heart rate above 30 degrees.
Connection: 1 lightning connection that connects both air and electrical signals
